Mygrah

A Co-Star alternative for Vedic astrology

Co-Star is great at Western astrology: clean design, blunt daily lines and comparing charts with friends. It doesn't do Vedic (Indian) astrology. Your Vedic sign is often different from your Western one, because Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac. Mygrah reads that chart, plus your nakshatra and dasha periods, which tell you what's active in your life and when.

Questions

Why is my Vedic sign different from my Co-Star sign?+

Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac, tied to the seasons. Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, tied to the actual stars. They're about 24 degrees apart now, so many people move back one sign.

Do I need an app?+

No. Mygrah works in your phone's browser. You can add it to your home screen.

Can I just buy one reading?+

Yes. Outside India you can buy one-time reports from $4.99 without subscribing.
