What we check
- Rahu in the 12th (strongest), or in the 1st, 4th, 7th or 9th.
- 12th lord in the 1st, 9th or 12th, lagna lord in the 9th or 12th, 9th and 12th lords linked.
- Moon with Rahu or in the 12th, 4th lord (homeland) in the 6th, 8th or 12th.
- Two or more planets in the 12th, lagna or Moon in a movable sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn).
The score adds these up. Windows come from dashas of the 12th lord, Rahu, the 9th lord and planets in the 12th, plus Jupiter and Saturn transits over your 12th house. A high score with a matching dasha is the classic videsh yog.
