Astrology by Birth Year

The slow outer planets stay in one sign for years, so everyone born around you shares them. See your generation's signature.

Generational planets

Uranus takes about 84 years to circle the zodiac, Neptune about 165 and Pluto about 248. So they spend years, sometimes decades, in one sign. Everyone born in that stretch shares the same placement, which is why astrologers read these planets as generational: they describe what a whole age group rebels against (Uranus), dreams about (Neptune) and transforms (Pluto).

On their own they say little about you personally. They matter more when they touch personal planets in your full natal chart. If a planet changed sign during your birth year, we show both signs and the date it moved.
