Arudha Lagna Calculator
Find your Arudha Lagna, the sign that shows your public image and status, and all twelve arudha padas of your chart.
How arudha padas are found
The rule is from BPHS (chapter on arudha padas). For any house, find where its lord sits and count how many houses that is from the house. Count the same number again from the lord. That sign is the arudha (pada) of the house. Two exceptions: if it lands on the house itself or the 7th from it, take the 10th sign from there instead. We use Mars for Scorpio and Saturn for Aquarius.
The Arudha Lagna (pada of the 1st) shows your image: how the world sees you, often different from who you are (the lagna). The Upapada (pada of the 12th) is read for marriage and the spouse. All twelve padas are listed in your result.
