Dashamsha (D10) Calculator
Make your dashamsha (D10) chart, the divisional chart for career, profession and status. You get the D10 lagna, its 10th house and each planet's D10 sign.
How the D10 is made
BPHS splits each 30° sign into ten parts of 3°. For odd signs (Aries, Gemini, Leo...) the parts are counted from the same sign; for even signs (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo...) they start from the 9th sign from it. A planet's D10 sign is the sign of the part it falls in.
Read the D10 lagna and its lord for how you work, the D10 10th house for your field and status, and planets that are strong in both D1 and D10 for career success. The D10 lagna changes about every 12 minutes, so you need an accurate birth time.

What is the D10 chart used for?+
Career, profession, status and achievements. It's read alongside the 10th house of the birth chart.
How accurate must my birth time be?+
Within a few minutes for the D10 lagna. Planet D10 signs are more stable, except the Moon.
What if a planet is strong in D1 but weak in D10?+
It promises a lot in general but gives less in career matters. Strong in both is the best.
Is this the same as the navamsa?+
No. The navamsa (D9) splits signs into 9 parts and is read for marriage and dharma. D10 is for career.
