What name correction actually checks
Name correction in numerology is about harmony. Your Mulank and Bhagyank come from your birth date and can't change. Your name number can. If the name number's planet is friendly to your birth numbers' planets, the name is said to support you. If it's an enemy planet, the usual practice is a small spelling change so the total lands on a friendlier number.

Why we don't invent spellings for free
A spelling that hits the right total can still look strange or be hard to pronounce. We'd rather not throw random letters at you. The full report gives a short list of small variations, like one doubled letter or an extra vowel, that we've actually recalculated against your numbers, so every suggestion on the list really does land on a friendly total.
